short answer
We found three peptide testing services for Canadian buyers in September 2026, all in Ontario: Testides Analytical, and SideChain Analytics and Peptide Test Canada in Mississauga. They differ on who runs the measurement, how identity is shown and how you check a report. Buyers in Alberta, British Columbia and elsewhere mail their vials to one of them, or to a lab in the US or overseas.
Peptide testing labs in Canada at a glance
All three services we found are in Ontario, two of them in Mississauga in the Greater Toronto Area. The table shows what each one’s own site stated in September 2026.
| Service (location) | Identity method | Other tests listed | Published turnaround | How you check a report |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Testides Analytical (Ontario) | HPLC-DAD retention time and UV spectrum; MS when ordered | Same-run quantitation, endotoxin (USP <85>), microbial limits (USP <61>/<62>) | Results within 10 days, or a refund | Report number lookup on its verify page |
| SideChain Analytics (Mississauga) | HPLC-MS/MS (triple quadrupole) | Net peptide content, blends per component, endotoxin (kinetic chromogenic LAL) | Typically 5–7 business days | Report number, sample ID and code, or QR code |
| Peptide Test Canada (Mississauga) | Mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) | Endotoxin (LAL) as an add-on | 5–7 business days | QR code |
Testides Analytical
Testides presents itself as an analytical data service for research materials, with the footer line “Ontario, Canada · Serving North America”. Its current site says the laboratory performs the measurement, while Testides handles coordination, data review, the evidence package and the report. Example reports name the lab only by a code.
The standard method is HPLC with a diode-array detector at 214 nm. Identity rests on retention time and a UV spectral match, which Testides itself describes as not a definitive identity determination unless mass spectrometry is ordered. Quantity comes from a calibration run in the same sequence as the sample. The menu adds endotoxin under USP <85>, and microbial enumeration and specified-organism tests under USP <61> and <62>. A raw evidence package is available as a ZIP of instrument files, with a SHA-256 fingerprint for each file.
Testides promises results within 10 days of recorded receipt or your money back. You check a report by entering its report number on the verify page, which shows the results, chromatogram and vial photo Testides recorded. Prices sit behind its client portal. Peptigrity counted 65 Testides certificates from 6 sellers. Our Testides review has more detail.
SideChain Analytics
SideChain Analytics is run by Side-Chain Analytics Inc. in Mississauga, and its footer says it is part of CanAlt Health Laboratories. Its core test reports identity, purity and net peptide content by HPLC-MS/MS on an Agilent 1290 Infinity II with a 6495 triple quadrupole. The sample report gives the MRM transition used for identity, the net peptide content in mg, the fill accuracy and the chromatographic purity. The site says the salt form (acetate, TFA or free acid) is specified on the certificate.
The sample blend report gives each component its own net content in mg, purity and fill accuracy, plus its share of the total. Endotoxin is a kinetic chromogenic LAL test under USP <85>. SideChain lists no sterility test and no TFA quantitation. Turnaround is “typically in 5–7 business days” after receipt. You can check a report with its report number, sample ID and verify code, or by QR code. SideChain names no accreditation of its own.
Peptide Test Canada
Peptide Test Canada, also in Mississauga, sells a standard test with HPLC purity and identity by mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). LAL endotoxin is an add-on, and reports carry a QR code for verification and, it says, all raw HPLC data. It says all testing is done at its own Mississauga lab, takes samples by Canada Post or any courier, and states 5–7 business days. Its page does not say whether the report gives mg of peptide per vial, so ask for a sample report before you order.
Testing from Alberta, British Columbia and the rest of Canada
Our September 2026 scan found no peptide testing service outside Ontario. Buyers in Vancouver, Calgary or Edmonton, and in Ontario cities such as Ottawa or Hamilton, mail their vials to the same three services. Ask for the sample form first, keep the vials sealed, ship with tracking, and send the tracking number to the lab. The clock at most labs starts when the parcel is received, so add domestic transit to any turnaround figure. Our guide on how to send peptides for testing covers packing and labels.
Using a US or overseas lab from Canada
Canadian buyers also mail vials to US labs, which our guide to peptide testing in the US compares by state, or overseas. Janoshik in the Czech Republic takes samples from any country and sends shipping instructions after payment; its standard test reports mg per vial and purity in an average of 7 business days. Finnrick runs free community testing, but describes itself as serving the US market; our guide to free peptide testing explains who pays for free tests.
A parcel that crosses a border needs a customs declaration. Describe the contents accurately and follow the courier’s rules. We also accept mailed samples from Canada: the quote reply lists the tests, the vials to send and the address.
What to ask a Canadian lab before you send
- Who measures the sample? A coordinator and a lab are not the same thing. The report should name the method and who signed it.
- Is identity shown by mass? Retention time and a UV match can miss a different peptide that elutes at the same time. Our guide to LC-MS identity and the identity test page explain why.
- Is the mg net peptide or total powder? SideChain says it specifies the salt form; ask any lab for the basis.
- What does each safety test measure? A microbial count under USP <61> or <62> is not sterility (USP <71>, 14 days). Endotoxin should come with a number in EU, not only a pass.
- How do I verify the report? A lookup on the lab’s own domain, or a file fingerprint check, beats a screenshot.
Reddit threads and forum reviews each describe one order. Rating sites give a wider view: Peptigrity, for example, counts the public certificates it holds for each lab. Our comparison of peptide rating sites explains what each one measures.
None of the three names an ISO/IEC 17025 certificate on the pages we read. Testides says that “where applicable”, testing is conducted within the scope of ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, and names no facility or certificate number. We do not hold ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation.
For groups, Testides runs campaign pages where members pay by card or Interac e-Transfer and the organiser receives the report. SideChain can split a payment across several payers. Our group test guide covers picking vials and sharing results, and our guide to home test kits explains why a kit does not replace a lab test.
What HK Analytical does for Canadian buyers
Our standard test is identity by LC-MS, purity by HPLC and content per vial in mg. Blind GLP-1 identification, endotoxin (LAL), Sterility (USP <71>, 14 days), residual solvents, counter-ion (TFA, acetate), water content (Karl Fischer) and vial-to-vial consistency can be added in any mix, per sample. Results within days of receipt. Sterility (USP <71>, 14 days) is the one test that takes 14 days, because the method incubates for 14 days.
Every number comes with its raw data. Each report is a signed record with the lab’s own photo of the vial as received, and anyone with its private link can check it at hkanalytical.com/verify. Groups can order through group testing. The steps are on how it works, and quotes are on request at /quote.
Questions
Where can I get peptides tested in Canada?
We found three services for Canadian buyers in September 2026: Testides Analytical in Ontario, and SideChain Analytics and Peptide Test Canada in Mississauga. All take samples by mail. You can also send vials to a US lab or to one overseas, which adds a customs declaration and transit time.
Is there a peptide testing lab in Vancouver or Alberta?
We found none in our September 2026 scan. The Canadian services we found are in Ontario, and all of them take samples by mail from any province. A lab in your city saves a little transit time; the method and the way you can check the report matter more.
Does Testides run the tests itself?
Its current site says the laboratory performs the measurement, while Testides manages the client relationship, data review, the evidence package and the report. Example reports name the lab by a code. Ask which lab will measure your sample if that matters to you.
Can a Canadian lab test for sterility?
SideChain Analytics lists no sterility test. Testides lists microbial enumeration and specified-organism tests under USP <61> and <62>. Those are microbial limit tests for non-sterile products, not the 14-day USP <71> sterility test. If you need USP <71>, ask the lab directly or use a lab that lists it by name.
Is there free peptide testing in Canada?
We found no free testing service based in Canada. Finnrick's free community testing covers identity, purity and quantity, asks for a batch ID with photo evidence and publishes the results, but Finnrick describes itself as serving the US market. A group test, where several buyers share the cost of one lab test, is the usual way to pay less per person.
How do I get peptides tested in Canada as a group?
Testides offers campaign pages where an organiser collects contributions by card or Interac e-Transfer and receives the report privately. SideChain can split one payment across several payers, each with a separate payment link. Agree on random vials and include content in mg so the result is useful to everyone.
